Victoria Rose Equestrian Athletics is incredibly proud to introduce our first Rider Select, Cassie Sanger. 

Cassie is an American Young Rider currently competing at the Advanced 4* level in Eventing. She resides in Cochranville, PA for the summers and Ocala, FL during the winters. For the past handful of years, Cassie has trained with Darrah Alexander in New York, who has been a wonderful influence and mentor for Cassie in her career. She now receives top training from both the Laws and Caitlin Silliman. 

Cassie currently competes her two horses, Fernhill Zoro, known in the barn as “Zoro”, and Redfield Fyre, affectionately known as “Yogi”. Zoro is currently competing at the 4* level with Cassie. Yogi is at the Intermediate level and soon to be making his Advanced debut, with Cassie in the irons. 

This past June, Cassie and Zoro traveled to Poland for the FEI Strzegom Nations Cup. They represented the USA and helped secure Silver for the team. It was an incredible experience for her. She quotes, “The trip really was a dream come true and it was incredible getting to compete on my First Nations Cup team, with some amazing teammates!” 

Cassie has goals to compete at the 5* level and to one day ride for the USA, at the Olympic or World Games. She already has an impressive record, with multiple top placings at big stages around the country. We will continue to hear about Cassie and look forward to watching her career continue to grow.
